Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Since qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist I have worked with both children and adults with a range of physical and mental health challenges. I have worked in hospitals, mainstream and special schools, pre-school clinics and with children with acquired brain injury. I am passionate about people participating and having a voice in their community and about the power of animals to support this. I am fully registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). |
Richard Bell
Occupational Therapist After 5 years of working with a variety of children and adults with additional needs in educational and supported living environments I undertook my Masters in Occupational Therapy. Since qualifying I have worked in an acute hospital setting and in children’s services. As part of my training I completed a placement with a service offering Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) and was inspired by the benefits I observed through this approach. Since this time I have wanted to establish a service offering (AAT) in Cambridgeshire. I believe in the benefits that AAT offers in supporting individuals to participate in their chosen activities. I am fully registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). |
